We hope everyone is excited for the upcoming hockey season. We definitely are ready to play. With that being said, I would like to give everyone an update as to how the season looks as of today. We are going to enter into our group cohorts starting the week of September 21st, and continuing with these groups until regional or pod play starts. Those team lists will be out early this week as well as the first 2 week schedule. NAI league stated, at their AGM, that this regional play will begin mid November, and are asking us to provide game ice for this time period. The executive has put countless hours into making our season a success, and this boosts our confidence in our process. We are going to use the first few weeks of cohort play as an evaluation time period, splitting into teams for play within NAI in early November as long as NAI remains confident in a mid November start. Once we have confirmed that NAI is able to move into game play we will be returning to the fee guide for 2020-21, and will be collecting the remaining portions of fees owed. We hope that this information clarifies many questions you may have had about returning to regular hockey. Also if anyone would like to register or return to hockey now that the season plan is more concrete we are asking that you contact our registrar at registrar@crknights.ca to secure a spot as some teams are close to full.
Thank you again and let’s have a great season,
Adam Crump
