NAI Season Start

Nov. 06, 2020

Hello all,

I hope everyone is excited to see this season start this weekend! A great deal of planning has taken place since last March to get us to this point by all levels. Hockey Alberta and AHS have worked together to make this season possible and safe. We as an executive are confident in this process. We would like each team to have fun and play hard.

A few housekeeping things from NAI as the season starts

  1. Each team is expected to keep a list of fans for each game. This has been emailed to each of the managers. We are asking each of our fans to follow the directions given to them for our arenas and the visiting arenas as well. Please be courteous and respectful to our staff and the arenas we visit.
  2. Coaches, managers, and parents are not part of the cohort as specified by NAI. This means that they must follow AHS guidelines when within 2 meters or 6 ft of the player. Masks must be worn in the dressing rooms, benches, and penalty box and on the ice when social distancing cannot be attained.

Thanks again for your support in making this season a possibility! There is no crystal ball into the future, and no one can tell us how long this is going to last. With that in mind, let’s make this as fun as we possible for our players, refs, coaches, managers, and parents.

Go KNIGHTS!
